Contemporary Kitchen Design For Mrs Ingram

Creating a contemporary kitchen requires a careful blend of clean lines and strong contrasts to produce a sleek and modern look.

Mrs Ingram decided that was exactly what she needed when she contacted the My Beautiful Kitchen team in order to get the kitchen she had always wanted. The end result was a beautifully finished Remo Handleless White Gloss contemporary kitchen…

The shining white units were complemented by Silestone Negro Stellar 20mm, Double Bevel Edge that added a perfect level of high contrast. The Magic Corner Mechanism also made excellent use of space, adding in more easy access storage for Mrs Ingram and making the most out of small corners.

The kitchen also benefited from a complete makeover in terms of appliances and fittings too. A Blanco Supra Undermount Single Bowl Sink replaced the old sink, with a handy Blanco lever mixer tap making it all the easier to use.

However, Hotpoint really stole the show with the sparkling new appliances that were integrated into the new kitchen. A brand new electric Hotpoint single black oven was chosen with a Hotpoint 4 burner gas glass hob to match.

The look was completed by a stunning Stoves black glass angled chimney hood. The new appliances didn’t end there – a Hotpoint full-size integrated dishwasher and Hotpoint integrated washing machine were also included, and a brand Hotpoint integrated built-under larder fridge and Hotpoint integrated built-under freezer completed the kitchen perfectly.

The new kitchen is beautifully lit by Click Slideline round lights as well as modern recessed downlights in brushed stainless steel.  Ten small white round LED lights serve as plinth lighting, while two flexible LED lights make for stunning feature lighting.

Silestone 12mm splashback tiles with their flecked black design bring the white units and black worktop surfaces together perfectly, and the look is set off by the Black Night Tile flooring, complete with Double Pencil Round White MDF facings.

Overall, the kitchen looks big, bright, and fresh and is a stunning contemporary design. Reflective surfaces and clean lines make the kitchen look chic and elegant, and the extra cupboard space and well-integrated extras take the kitchen up a notch.
